How many of us just never grow up?
Lost boys of neverland, fighting the grown-ups.
Hear stories of Peter Pan, the anti-man, a fearless lamb-
who fights the captain, hook in hand, and never comes home.
Never shows up. Never once. Never twice. Check his heart-nothing left.
Always playing. He seems alright.
Life turns to legend turns to bed-time tale
Stories-grow old-and memories fail.
And remembering stops being easy.
And I remember warm summer breezes.
Sitting, sharing apples under trees
Ready to explore as far as eye could see and
Shaking hands with trickless sleeves
